It's a sad truth of life that the grass is always greener if your hair were a different color.
I love my blonde hair. Everyone seems to really like it (including you guys) and sometimes I freak myself out in the mirror -- it's like getting to be someone else for a summer.
But... the moment I went blonde, ideas for tutorials started popping into my head.
Brunette tutorials.
Natalie Portman. Kate Middleton. Kim Kardashian. Emma Watson. Katie Holmes. Doesn't it suddenly seem like everyone stylish is a brunette?
But for this video, I figured I'd just go for it. If I could imitate Natalie Portman's makeup as a brunette, I can do it as a blonde too. And I am literally, no joke, no holds barred obsessed with her look in this Miss Dior video. Some critics have called it cheesy, but I think it's just beautiful.
To me, she's basically the most gorgeous person in Hollywood, and she's completely perfected the natural, girl-next-door-but-still-ethereally-beautiful look. Not a bad look to try to mimic, right?
I used: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer (gifted), Kat Von D tattoo liner, shadows from an old Sephora palette (gifted), MAC eyeshadow suite in Rose (discontinued), DIOR mascara and blush in Rose Diamond (gifted), Bobbi Brown brow kit (discontinued), Benefit HighBeam highlighter, NARS orgasm blush, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish pressed powder in Porcelain Pink (discontinued), L'Oreal lipliner in All About Pink, DIOR Addict lipstick in L.A., Laura Mercier lip gloss in Baby Doll.
