southwest inspired

Sometimes I forget that I actually live in the Southwest (ish) now, but it's one of my favorite styles to draw inspiration from. Easy neutrals, bold turquoise, and messy hair, and you basically have a winning look in my book. It seems like ages ago, but this Dannijo presentation back in 2011 has always been one of my favorite Fashion Week moments.

I bought this dress about a year ago (see it on Sugarlaws back then here!) but rediscovered it in my closet when I was searching for something that would fit of my baby bump! Believe it or not, I'm six months pregnant in these photos -- you can't really tell because I'm covering it with my bag and the dress is so poufy, but there's a big ol' belly underneath! It's become a challenge to find things that still fit and look somewhat cute, so rediscovering this dress was a huge win!
