Ingredients
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons of Angostura bitters
3 tablespoons of gin
3 tablespoons of vodka
2 tablespoons of Cointreau or triple sec
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Ice cubes, for serving
Directions
Wash and slice the navel orange and place it in a sealable glass jar. Do not remove peel. Add bitter orange peel, then pour in the gin and vermouth. Seal and shake the jar, then steep at room temperature for a minimum of 24 hours and up to 72 hours.
