Ingredients

2 tuna steaks, about 6 ounces each

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Preheat a sous vide water bath to 130°F . In a small bowl, mix together the parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Rub the olive oil over both sides of the tuna steaks and season with the herb mixture. Place the seasoned tuna steaks in a vacuum-sealed bag and seal it using a vacuum sealer or the water displacement method. Place the sealed bag into the preheated sous vide water bath and cook for 1 hour. Remove the bag from the water bath and open it carefully to avoid hot steam burns. Serve immediately or chill in an ice bath before serving. Enjoy!.
