Baked Salmon in Foil Pouch

Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed

Salt and pepper to taste

4 lemon slices, divided

4 sprigs fresh parsley, divided

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F . Cut four 12-inch squares of aluminum foil. Place one sprig of parsley and one lemon slice in the center of each square. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, dill weed, onion powder, and garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly over the salmon fillet. Drizzle with olive oil and top with remaining parsley and lemon slices. Place the salmon fillet on top of the parsley and lemon slices in each foil pouch. Fold up the sides of the foil to create a sealed pouch around the salmon fillet. Place pouches on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until salmon is cooked through . Serve immediately.
