Italian Sausage & Pepper Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 bell peppers, diced
3 cups chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the onion, bell peppers, garlic, oregano, and basil to the pot and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and diced tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top of each bowl of soup. Enjoy!.
