Ingredients
4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F . In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, salt and pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic and olive oil. Place portobello mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the mushrooms. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve hot.
