Roasted Green Beans and Red Peppers

Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

2 red bell peppers, cut into strips

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F . In a large bowl, combine garlic powder, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add bell peppers and green beans to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the oil mixture. Spread vegetables onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring once or twice during cooking time. Serve hot or at room temperature.
