Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

4 cups cooked ham, diced into cubes

4 cups cauliflower florets, steamed until tender

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F . Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a large bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, cauliflower florets, ham cubes, salt and pepper, nutmeg and thyme; mix well. Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic and onion until softened. Stir in flour until combined; gradually add chicken broth while stirring constantly until thickened. Pour sauce over the casserole ingredients in the baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. Serve hot. Enjoy!.
