It's kind of weird to see me with non-urban background, no?

For the past few weeks, as everyone has talked to us about all the great things about Houston, this little voice in my head (and sometimes out loud) has been going, "sure, but where am I going to do my Sugarlaws photos?"

Today was my first time scouting out locations, and on the recommendation of a few friends, I went straight to Houston's museum district (which is gorgeous)! I couldn't resist climbing this amazing oak tree whose branches hung almost to the ground -- if only I didn't have to take off my heels to do it!

My hair is a bit of a disaster in these photos -- this is the longest I've gone without a touch up since going blonde, and it definitely shows. I was warned about the upkeep, but it always seems like those weeks in between appointments go by in an instant! But now that we're all unpacked, I'll definitely be scouting out the best beauty spots in the city!
