tutorial: perfect coral lip

I bet a few times a week, you guys might just dab on a little lip gloss and call it a day, no?
Ok, I've done it too. But you know what lasts about ten minutes? Lip gloss on its own. To do a serious colored lip, you need way more than that one tiny step.
One of the best pieces of advice that I get over and over again from professional makeup artists, is that there are no shortcuts. If you want a look that's as great as the celeb who sits still for an hour or two to get her makeup done, you have to learn (and recreate) all the steps that they use.
Fortunately, for lips, there are really just three crucial steps: a serious lipcolor, full liner to fill and emphasize your pucker, and then a gorgeous gloss to set everything and give some additional shine. And then do it all over again for serious staying power.
I've been wearing this coral shade from Estée Lauder all the time -- usually I'm more of a neutral lip girl, but the color in this shade is so flattering that it's become one of my absolute favorites. Paired with a subtle shimmering gloss and smooth liner, and you can't get a prettier pout.
I know it's been a while since I've done a makeup video! I have so many fun ones coming up -- I can't wait to show you guys!
I used: Estée Lauder Pure Color lipstick in Curvaceous Coral, Estée Lauder lip liner in Rose Coral, Estée Lauder Pure Color lip gloss in Extravagant Pink, tissue.
