I did a little something different in this video -- no sound! I know some of you guys might be checking Sugarlaws during the workday (I won't tell), so I figured it would be nice to put up a video that you could understand without listening to me talking. And as an added bonus, when you cut my jibber-jabber out of the video, I cut the running time down to about 3 minutes!
This has been my go-to summer makeup for the past few months, and I love how this golden eyeshadow gives a ton of depth and definition but isn't dark or heavy. Estée Lauder's Pure Color eyeliner has become a huge go-to for me -- I'm usually not great with liquid liner, but this one is so easy to apply that it's completely changed my life. Goes on smooth every time, and stays put forever (you need a gentle makeup remover to get it off). I wear it with just a swipe of mascara all the time, and it's great with a more layered look like this one.
The lovely folks over at Kim Brushes sent me a few to try, and I've been using them all the time, but this is the first makeup video they've made it into! I'm such a sucker for the softest brushes I can find, and these are so incredibly luxurious. They're actually made by a company that produces artists' paintbrushes, and only recently formed their first makeup brush line!
Also -- thank you guys SO MUCH for all your input on Monday's outfit! I'm definitely going to do some tweaking to that look and try to take away some of the volume -- and I'm going to run more outfits by you guys before September!
