the new classic

The funny thing is -- and I know this is bizarre -- I don't think I've ever worn breton stripes on this blog before! I know it's not exactly the most original outfit, and you guys have probably seen shirts like this on a hundred other blogs, but not here.

But let's face it, this look is long overdue. There's nothing more simple and classic than a top like this, and paired with some colored denim and neon heels, this look is still classic but perfectly modern. Paired with my new favorite Foster Grant sunglasses? Total perfection.

I had a crazy weekend -- so many exciting things in the pipeline that I cannot WAIT to tell you guys about. Keeping things under wraps until they're public is one of the hardest things about blogging, but even trying to keep my expectations in check, I'm pretty darn certain that 2012 is going to be my best year ever (yeah, Katy -- great job with those checked expectations). I just can't wait.
