It's not that often that I discover a new designer who instantly becomes one of my wardrobe staples.

The craziest thing about this Parker dress is that the designer doesn't seem to have an online presence at all, and I can't figure out anything about him/her/them! But I'm so in love with the shape of this dress that I've already bought it in two different patterns, and worn it to a half dozen events.

I actually found this during a Bloomingdales sale a few months ago, on a rack full of discarded items that other shoppers had tried on and decided against. I impulsively grabbed it and brought it into the fitting room with, and five minutes later, I was completely in love. And no matter how many fashion people compliment me on it, none of them have ever heard of Parker. It's like this little gem I'm the first one to discover.*

This whole outfit basically consists of some favorites of mine. The jewelry is another line I feel so lucky to have discovered -- really reasonably priced (these necklaces are each $34, and this stunning ring is only $35) and beautifully made. You've already seen the sunglasses, shoes and bag, and that's because they've become my summer uniform. But hey, as uniforms go, this one isn't bad.
