style: rebecca minkoff (and cookies!)

A year ago, I'm not sure I could have conceived of a world where Rebecca Minkoff would invite me to her her showroom to decorate holiday cookies. Which is actually a little bit sad, because decorating holiday cookies with Rebecca, her awesome team, and a bunch of my favorite bloggers was a pretty fantastic way to spend a Tuesday night, if I do say so myself.

And whoa. Let me tell you, when bloggers flex their crafting muscles, it was pretty impressive to behold. And, of course, there was quite a bit of glitter involved. I somehow made it through this whole event without decorating a single cookie (which is hilarious, because out of the whole bunch, I'm the FOOD blogger!), mostly because I was too busy swooning over this long-sleeved red romper that's coming out in Rebecca's spring collection.

We also used even more glitter glue and ribbon to design ornaments featuring pictures of each of us with a giftable from Rebecca's holiday collection (coin purses, smaller bags, iphone and ipad cases), that were hung up in the showroom for a little pre-holiday cheer!  See them below, but promise not to make fun of my handwriting -- it's pretty awful...
