style: classic cape

There's something that feels very Ralph Lauren about this cape, right? I feel like it references his combination of classic camel wool and a shape that's sleek and sophisticated -- so you can't really go wrong in wearing it. I scoured several Zara stores before finding this, and it's nearly sold out in NYC. The weather is a little too cold for a cape this lightweight lately, but I keep hoping for a few temperate days so I can break it out before Spring!

And, the boots. Ok, I'm a little obsessed with them. When Report Footwear offered to send me a pair, I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to experiment with a supersexy above-the-knee style, and when I saw this picture of Kim Kardashian in the same boots, I was totally sold. They manage to be both totally flattering and really comfortable (considering the height of the heel), and I'm just in love. And they're warm enough that you can actually wear them without tights when it's not too freezing cold!
