It's so hot here already, sometimes a little black dress feels almost like a rarity in the summer. I love bright colors, and there's nothing like a bold splash of color to make the heat a little more bearable. But sophisticated black? It's funny how I tend to save it for those cooler days.
But the other night, this just seemed perfect (ninety-five degrees or not). This little wisp of a dress was everything I love -- easy, simple, and totally classic at the same time. The perfect pairing was this beautiful, ladylike Brahmin purse, and my gorgeous silk Tadashi Shoji scarf!
