sneek peek: brahmin summer '11

Just received the first images from the Summer 2011 Brahmin catalog that I helped to style in March! These turned out amazing, and I cannot *wait* to see the whole thing!

I knew that the top image would be one of my favorites from the first time I saw the bag -- that white snakeskin in the Danica bag's handle is so incredibly chic but still totally cool (it's $325 and available at the end of May).  I love that using it as an accent tones the look down a little bit, and I LOVE that they mixed it with such a wearable, everyday shape.  I can totally see that bag holding all my day-to-day essentials that I carry around!

The second bag, the Anytime Tote ($225!!), has a special spot in my heart... and a special home in my closet, because Brahmin actually sent it to me!  I've been carrying it nonstop (only left it in my closet one day last week, when it was pouring rain)!  The size and shape are amazing, and the color is so effortlessly chic.  I think it looks totally perfect on a twenty-something, but I can also imagine my mom carrying the same bag!

(And, as an extra chic factor, it's going to be in their June Vogue ad!  Swoon!)

The pop of color in the last Lara Rose bag ($325, available 4/25) is so killer -- I would go just as well with a little black dress or suit as it does with this laid back, beachy white ensemble.  The size is so totally chic -- I love the daintiness of it (sometimes I feel so goofy carrying a bag that could fit me inside it) and the subtle retro vibe.  This could be a staple in your closet now, or 20 years from now.
