There's a lot of open road in Texas, and every time I see a long dirt path, some telephone wires, I think... photo time!

Seriously. I can't get enough of it. Maybe it's from my years in Manhattan where wide open empty spaces were completely nonexistent? Either way, I have a special place in my heart (and camera) for places like this.

And what perfect way to celebrate the open spaces and tall skies than a flowy white cotton dress? I swear, I would wear this every day if I could. It's been a little chilly here, so I paired it with my new favorite jean jacket from Zara -- I wasn't sure if the shearling cuffs would be overkill weather-wise in Texas, but they're perfect for January at least.
