on fire

Coming home last week to this dress from Foley and Corinna was the final, amazing highlight in an incredible July. The moment I saw this dress on their website, I was head over heels in love, and I almost can't believe it's mine!

You guys know how much I love sequins, but these copper sequins take my obsession to a whole new level. The whole dress seems fire-inspired to me, between the beautiful scalloped bottom and the way the light makes the sequins multifaceted.

Also, I have to say -- this doorframe is like midget-sized, right?  I'm 5'2" regularly and only 5'6" in heels, and I feel like a giant in these photos!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  My whole family got together for the first time in quite a while (since Christmas, I think!) and it was so nice to have everyone together.  I didn't wear this dress for it -- although I wanted to. Copper sequins at 10 a.m. are A-OK in my book, but Chad disagreed. :-)

Guess I have to save it for Fashion Week then!
