It's no secret that jackets aren't a big part of my wardrobe anymore, so I had to put some serious thought into what I could bring to New York this season that would be cute and still keep me reasonably warm!
Fortunately, I picked up this amazing tweed jacket at the C. Wonder opening back in October -- and in scrolling through my posts, I realized that somehow I've hardly even put it up on here! (There was this photo from the opening, and a few pics in this post, but that's it!) I find that absolutely insane, because I've probably worn this jacket a hundred times since I got it.
For such a distinctive piece, it's actually amazingly versatile -- it looks tailored and professional over a black shift dress, and a little funky over a patterned blouse. And, amazingly enough, it's still on sale in a few sizes!
I paired it with this Lanvin top I found at a consignment store in Houston for under $200, and my Theyskens Theory shoes that I've worn to death for the past few seasons. All in all, not bad!
Gifted C. Wonder jacket, Lanvin top, Theyskens Theory shorts, Via Spiga boots, gifted Banana Republic Aria bag.
