nyfw beauty essentials

Packing for New York Fashion Week can be quite an ordeal! I obviously need all my day-to-day beauty staples, but one of the crucial things is also anticipating the little things I'm going to need over the course of the week -- something as simple as some cleansing wipes for a late night when I don't feel like taking off my makeup, or a few extra Band-Aids can easily make or break an afternoon!

So here are my cricial packing basics -- obviously, my Simple Skincare Vital Vitamin Night Moisturizer and Cleansing Facial Wipes, along with my favorite Estee Lauder bronzer, eyeliners and shadows, my DIORSHOW mascara and mascara primer, and Makeup Forever HD Finishing Powder! (For a rundown on the makeup I reach for everyday, check back to this post!)

But there are a few extra must-pack items for NYFW in particular! Band-Aids, obviously, and a tube of Neosporin for unruly high heels. Bobby pins, clear elastics, and temporary hair dyes (chalk and Streekers) in case I want to do an edgier look for a night or two!

Throw in plenty of Q-Tips, hair spray, chewing gum, and all my phone, camera and iPad chargers, and I just barely squeezed in a few inches in my suitcase for some clothes!
