There is something absolutely amazing about this week. Today was incredibly busy, and this whole weekend is shaping up to be the same way -- I had six shows today, including Rebecca Taylor, Rebecca Minkoff and Nicole Miller, some serious heavy hitters. And my feet are sore, my voice is giving out, but, man, did I see some gorgeous clothes today.
It's almost midnight and I definitely have to get in bed, because tomorrow is even busier! But first, I wanted to leave you guys with a few shots from today. To see more, check out the Sugarlaws Facebook page for my albums!
Above: An atmosphere shot from Rebecca Minkoff's streamlined, incredibly wearable show.
A rare flash of color at Joy Ciocci, whose collection may be one of my favorites of this whole season. I loved the vintage-inspired, whimsical dresses.
Lingerie for the modern woman from The Lake and Stars, one of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winners! We had a chance to chat with the designers while sipping some pinot grigio (yum!), who said they were inspired by 1970's architecture for this collection. And they chose models with a much wider range of body types than you usually see at these shows -- an incredibly welcome, refreshing change.
Loved this wine-colored hue on many of Rebecca Taylor's dresses -- I would have taken every single one of them home if I could! Does anyone know who did the jewelry for her show? It was gorgeous!
Joy Ciocci is my newest obsession. I loved how effortlessly chic this model looked, and how comfortable the sweater looked!
A muted palette of greys and blacks with some interesting geometric details at Nicole Miller.
Lo from the Hills! Waiting for Rebecca Minkoff's show to start.
