Ok, was it me or did the shopping terms for Thanksgiving weekend get a little out of control this year? We had black Friday, brown Thursday, cyber Monday, and I can't even imagine what else -- all to convince people that This Is The Weekend To Shop.

Which, ok, it kind of was -- I got amazing deals on a few pieces I'd been eying forever (well, since September) and I'm pretty excited about that!

We had a really fun weekend with lots of cooking, entertaining and all that holiday insanity -- and even put up our Christmas tree! I'm kind of nuts about the tree -- last year, we left it up until June. I just love all the holiday decorations. Next year, when we have a house, I can't wait to decorate our yard!

I'm in LOVE with this blouse from Kelly Wearstler -- I've had it for a week or two and probably worn it a half dozen times already. I love beautiful silk blouses that you can pair as easily with jeans and heels as you can with a business suit -- and this one is as gorgeous as they get. This Chanel jacket was one of my first Houston purchases, and between the two, I'm not sure this outfit can be beat.
