hudson jeans and breast cancer awareness

I'm so thrilled to help Hudson jeans support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation this October!

You guys might already know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month -- as if anyone could be un-aware of the huge toll that breast cancer takes on our everyday lives. Husdon is supporting breast cancer awareness with their "I choose" campaign, where they asked a few bloggers to show the slogans that they choose with respect to breast cancer and this campaign.

On my billboard, I wrote, "I choose to help save lives," and the fact is -- awareness helps saves lives. The more knowledgeable you are of the potential risks of cancer, the more likely you are to catch it at an early stage (where it's perfectly curable).

And Hudson is supporting breast cancer awareness by donating $5 of every purchase for the month of October to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! The BCRF is an amazing organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research -- the only cancer organization to be designated an “A+” charity by The American Institute of Philanthropy, and one of the most efficient organizations in the country. Can't get much better than that!

We're almost done unpacking, and I think I'm going to put some photos up this week of our new place! Settling in is going much smoother than I thought, although I'm getting really sick of unpacking giant boxes!
