fleeting moments

With our days in NYC numbered, I get a lot of questions about whether there's anything I want to do before I leave.

I generally feel like if I've lived here for years without going to the Statue of Liberty or the top of the Empire State Building, I probably don't actually want to do any of the big touristy things very much (or... at all). On the other hand, I could happily spend every day of the next few weeks window shopping in SoHo, eating in our favorite neighborhood places, and, of course, people-watching on the streets!

So for my last few days before Fashion Week mayhem begins, I'm looking for easy, comfortable outfits with a little bit of spunk. This Lulu's dress is only $73, and the boots are around $150, and both are the types of easy staples that you want to stock your whole closet with.

And I have some really fun news! DDF, an amazing skincare line you've probably seen at Sephora, has generously offered to send me to the IFB Emerging Influence conference on Wednesday! I've actually never been to a blogger conference before, but I'm SO excited to get to see everyone who's going, and hopefully learn something about how I can improve Sugarlaws along the way! And as an added bonus, DDF sent me some of their new Amplify Elixir, which I've already started using this weekend. Sixteen hour NYFW days always take their toll on my skin, so anything that keeps me hydrated and glowing is crucial!
