You guys... this dress.
From the first moment I saw it, I was in love. I saw it in BHLDN's window and wanted to try it on. I tried it on... and wanted to bring it home. I even tried to convince my cousin to make this her bridesmaid's dress! It was love at first sight, and second sight, and third sight. So when Chad's best friend got married last weekend, there was only one dress I'd consider wearing -- this one.
Maybe it's that this dress looks like it belongs on Kate Middleton (doesn't it!?). Maybe it's the perfect combination of ladylike elegance and old Hollywood glamour. Maybe it's that this dress is so perfectly my style and yet more beautiful than anything I could dream up. Maybe it's the luxe satin, the perfect cut, the subtle color. Maybe it's nothing I can put my finger on -- it's just that I adored it.
So I was thrilled to wear it to a very special wedding -- a little whimsical, a little unique, and above all, absolutely beautiful! We spent a gorgeous Memorial Day weekend in Gainesville, Georgia, and the town was so picturesque that I couldn't resist snapping tons of photos. Expect more soon, although I don't think any of them will top this dress!
BHLDN Preservation Society dress, Jimmy Choo pumps, J. Crew clutch.
