Have you guys been poring over the pictures coming in from Coachella like I have? It looks like such a blast, I'm dying to go next year! I love seeing everyone in their low-key, music festival-wear -- it's such a change from all the polish and glam of NYFW!

Even though I'm not going to California this year, I thought I'd do a post on a music-festival-inspired beauty look! These tips work just as easily for a concert that's near home -- Chad and I are headed to an awesome two-day festival in Houston in June, so I'll be getting a chance to try out fun outdoor looks.

For this look, I kept everything about my makeup minimal -- I hardly used any foundation, but covered up any unevenness in my skintone by mixing Cle de Peau concealer with Simple Skincare Vital Vitamin Day Cream moisturizer (which has the added bonus of SPF 15 -- if you're going to be outdoors all day, be sure to add a hat and reapply frequently)! That's my favorite trick for a minimal makeup day -- you get the almost all the benefits of foundation without any greasy feeling by evening.

For my eyes, I used Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess palette (a favorite of mine since back in NY!) And for lips, I left them super simple -- nobody wants to be reapplying lipstick all day long when you're outdoors without a mirror! I used Nivea Kiss of Shimmer chapstick with SPF 10 -- another drugstore favorite that's perfect for long summer days!
