COVERGIRL lip perfection: days 5 and 6

So, by days 5 and 6 of my COVERGIRL Lip Perfection challenge, my lips were seriously feeling great. I'm writing this almost a week after the challenge ended, and I've been so addicted to the benefits of Lip Perfection that I've still been wearing it every day. But by the end of the first week, I'd started to notice the difference every time I put lipstick on -- my lips were smoother, softer and just generally felt better!

And along the way, I managed to discover some awesome new shades. Lipstick is so incredibly transformative -- even though I started with the basics, I was so excited about the chance to experiment with an entire line of Lip Perfection!

I thought that my go-to basic would be Feline (the shade from day one), but when I tried Heavenly on Day 5, oh swoon. It immediately went into my bag as well -- it's just as gorgeously pink and feminine, and totally adorable. That day, I was headed to a showcase of summer dresses (more on that soon), so I wanted to look polished but still casual, and this was a perfect go-to shade.

And then day 6. One of the things I was particularly excited about was to explore some more dramatic lip colors, and I just loved the orangey shade in the picture below, called Impassion. Also, don't you just love all the names? There's something so fun about putting on a lipstick in the morning called Rapture or Burn or Hot -- or as demure and sweet as Fairytale or Sweetheart. It was actually rainy *again* on day six, so I had to do this photo indoors with only a little light, but I promise, Day 7 will make up for it.
