beauty: pillow rollers

It is a universal fact of life that all straight-haired girls want curly hair, and all curly-haired girls want straight hair.

I sort of consider myself part of both of those categories. My hair is naturally wavy, but not very (this old post is about what it does if I don't straighten or curl it), so I tend to go to one extreme or the other.

Straightening my hair takes the least time and lasts the longest, so that tends to be my default. This pricey but amazing flatiron is my go-to product -- in cost-per-use, it's worth every penny.

But I was ordering a few things from CVS a few days ago, and on a whim I added these to my cart. For $11.99, I figured they were worth a try -- and I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of them. They were super easy to use, and I didn't get the crinkle that I sometimes get with regular curlers.
