autumn -- or is it?

One of the weirder things about living in Texas is that the weather is about twenty degrees warmer on any given day here than it is in New York. I'm so, so excited for that come January or February, when it will still be in the fifties and sixties here, but for the past week or two, it's been a little weird to watch all my blogger friends transition into tights and jackets when I'm still in bathing suit weather!

I'm in love with this outfit, even if it's a little bit for cooler weather than Houston has now -- and thanks so much to American Living, who sent me the sweater and bag! It was one of my first packages that we received in our new apartment, so it felt like half a housewarming present and half an amazing style pick! Last but not least... I'm headed to Houston Fashion Week tonight! I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I heard about it months ago, but I'm so excited to see collections from Bibhu Mohapatra and Robert Rodriguez tonight! Who knows -- maybe there is great fashion outside NYC?!
