and the shows (day one)

Looking at these pictures just put the hugest smile on my face! I can't believe these were only a week ago -- it already seems so surreal!

And speaking of amazing and surreal, I couldn't even believe it when I saw TWO of photos of myself on the New York Times website this weekend! I immediately emailed everyone I've ever met. I mean, the New York Times!  They didn't even cover our wedding, but my hot pink jeans? Yup, those made the cut. Check out the picks here and here!

I eased into Fashion Week with a few terrific shows on Friday -- Rebecca Minkoff, always one of my favorites, Brandon Sun, and the ever-adorable Kate Spade.  I'm trying to organize all the gorgeous pieces I saw into a few key trends for next fall, and so far on my list are polka dots, luxe leather pieces, and major color (not necessarily in the same outfit)!  Bright blues, greens and reds aren't going away any time soon, and I couldn't be happier about it.

I've basically been studying for the bar exam for 18 hours a day since getting home, so my life went from very exciting and glamorous to a lot less so in the blink of an eye. I'll be so happy in two weeks when this is all over! (Wish me luck!)
