I love that you can always see me coming a mile away! While I have a bunch of little black dresses in my closet, there's nothing I love more than a pop of color... or several!

These shorts are by the awesome designer By Smith -- and they were also in the Cotton runway show! As soon as I heard about them, I knew they were the perfect up-and-coming designer to spotlight -- but now that they're in almost 90 stores across the East Coast and the South, I feel like I may have even been behind the curve! If you don't have them on your radar already, I guarantee that you'll be hearing a lot more about them a year from now (if not sooner)!

I love that spring seems to be hitting the rest of the world lately -- I'm so happy to leave winter coats behind (not that I ever really wore them in Texas anyways)! Let's face it: brights are always at their best when it's warm and breezy outdoors!
